We The Remap Link offer ECU tuning services for KTM in-house or through the mail. We're experts in KTM tuning and have tuned numerous KTM in our workshop located in Birmingham, West Midlands. We offer services for a wide range of KTM models, including race remaps and custom remaps. We can increase the power output of your bike.
When we develop our KTM remaps we start by running the standard bike on our dyno and measuring the power output. We also use standalone diagnostic equipment to monitor every aspect of engine function. We monitor and record air-fuel ratio, throttle plate opening, spark timing, injector duty cycle, lambda readings, engine knock and other parameters. This is done at various accelerator twist grip positions and the whole process is repeated for every mode that the bike has. We spend a lot of time building a complete picture of how the factory set the bike up and where we can make improvements.
We will spend a lot of time test riding our development bikes to analyse how they ride in the real world. We also speak to other riders and existing customers to research any common complaints.
Our philosophy on what makes a good remap is so much more than the maximum power output. We aim to provide the rider a remapped KTM that rides well in the real world with a linear, progressive, and smooth power delivery and throttle response.
All our remaps are developed on our rolling road before we road test the bike to make sure it works in the real world not just on our dyno. The BHP UK ethos is to buy our own vehicles to develop, so we do our learning on our own machines, not your pride and joy.
Harley Davidson owners love to modify their bikes and as we write all our maps in house, we can custom tune them for any modifications.
We can remap your Harley through its on-board diagnostic port and will remap the factory ECU meaning we can adjust any engine parameter that we need to. These parameters include fuelling, spark advance, throttle response curves, torque limiters, lambda requests and closed loop monitoring.
We can retune these to suit the exhaust like normal but without all the restrictions in place we can also tune beyond what is enforced by the race kit map meaning we are only limited by ourselves. How far? Well when considering engine internals making sure they can cope with what's happening in there, how much fuel and how much spark you're using, it really comes down to a case of how agile your tuner's mind is and what school he or she went to!
The ECU programmer gains access via the OBD2 hole under your seat, so there are no holes drilled into the frame nor any tacky stickers on your bike. And because it plugs directly onto the OBD diagnosis port you aren't even electrical wiring modifications needed and this simply becomes "plug 'n' play"
There is nothing else like our KTM Performance ECU Re-flashing service out there!
